RoXXXstarRadio originated nearly 40 years ago, established by two childhood friends with a vision of creating their own radio station. In 2017, after three and a half decades of diverse careers and personal commitments, this dream was realized. One founder remained in Cleveland, Ohio, known as the Rock 'n' Roll Capital of the World, while the other served in the U.S. Navy, ultimately retiring from the Coast Guard after 25 years in San Diego, California.

Bringing together a shared passion for music and extensive experience in bands, DJing, event hosting, and working within television and film, they have crafted a unique 24/7 music rotation that stands out globally. With a commitment to discovering and sharing the best new music, RoXXXstarRadio also features daily live shows from their DJs, contributing to a dynamic broadcast environment.
